T10 Organizers hosted the team group draw for the third edition of the T10 League 2019 in Amid fanfare Dubai on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
Additionally, T10 League 3 Abu Dhabi 2019 is the only ten-over cricket league in the world that is recognized by the ICC (International Cricket Council) and officially licensed by the ECB (Emirates Cricket Board).
T10 League will be played on the same pattern of the previous season. A total of eight teams will compete with each other, that has divided into two groups. Each group has four teams that have finalized after draws on Tuesday.
T10 League Group Draws 2019
As we mention, an early total of eight teams is participating in the upcoming T10 3rd edition 2019. However, these eight teams were divided into two groups.
As per draw results, Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, and Karnataka Tuskers were drawn in Group A. On the other hand, Last season champions Northern Warriors, along with Maratha Arabians, Qalandars and Team 8 (Team 8 is yet to be announced) were got the spot in Group B.
As per cricket experts, Group B is tougher and challenging for all four teams. Northern Warriors are the defending champions of the T10 League. So, they will give a tough time to their competitors. Another T10 team, Maratha Arabians are also part of Group B. They are playing this league from when it starts. They have a lot of experience that will hard to beat for any team in Group B.
Meanwhile, Qalandars, another tough team that plays Pakistan Super League from the last 4 seasons have a lot of experience and potential to beat any team. So, we are expecting matches of Group B will be tighter and challenging then Group A.
As per T10 Cricket Rules, in the first round of the league, teams from the same groups will compete for each other, and the top two teams of each group will take their place in the next round that will be on the same pattern of IPL and PSL.
Cricket fans witnessed the great glory of the T10 Cricket League. In the last two seasons, several teams participate in this league to provide unlimited entertainment to cricket fans. However, this time, six new teams will participate in this league.
T10 League Rebranding
From a very decent beginning with only six teams in the first edition, now the T10 league becomes an eight side cricket league.
In the first edition of T10, only 10 matches played across the duration of four days at the iconic Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
After the success of the first edition, T10 organizers decided to add two more teams in this league. Venues were also increased as they added Dubai Cricket Stadium.
Certainly, Abu Dhabi Cricket Council and Abu Dhabi Sports Council get keen interest in this league and joined the hands with T10 organizers. They also become the title sponsors of the T10 League. After that, T10 League rebranded as Abu Dhabhi T10 League.
Interestingly, the T10 league added six new teams in this league in the phase of rebranding. Qalandars, Bangla Tigers, Deccan Gladiators, Karnataka Tuskers, Delhi Bulls, and Team 8 that will be announced soon.
By adding, new teams from south Asian countries will add more taste to this league that will surely be liked by cricket fans.
The joining of top-class cricketers like England’s World cup winning team captain Eoin Morgan, West Indian Star, and two-time T20 champions Dareen Sammy, a famous destructive Australian batsman Shane Watson, Rashid Khan a spin wizard from Afghanistan and great fast bowler Lasith Malinga makes this league more exciting and challenging.
Shahid Khan Afridi, a famous all-rounder in the world, will also play T10 League by representing Qalandars in the upcoming T10 league 2019. Due to Shahid Afridi, the T10 league will get massive support from the Pakistani Community.
