Nepal Clinch 3rd Consecutive Victory, Defeat Hong Kong by 8 Wickets

In the ACC Premier Cup 2024, Nepal maintained their winning record by easily defeating Hong Kong by 8 wickets. Nepal's outstanding performance has guaranteed them a place in the Group A semifinals. As Hong Kong set a modest target of 115 runs to chase, Nepal's batting lineup showed impressive poise. In just 12.2 overs, they managed to reach the goal with only 2 wickets lost. This decisive win demonstrates Nepal's consistent performance throughout the competition. Nepal had won the toss and chosen to bowl first earlier. Hong Kong was only able to score 114 runs because to their bowling attack. Abhinash Bohara was the pick of the Nepali bowlers, scalping 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs. Sompal Kami and Lalit Rajbanshi also chipped in with 2 wickets each. Nepal's batting was interesting. At the beginning, Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh did well, making 72 runs together. Bhurtel scored 32 runs in 19 balls, and Sheikh got 40 runs in 18 balls. Then, captain Rohit Paudel and Sundeep Jora finished the job, scoring 25* and 19* runs respectively, helping Nepal win easily
