23 April at 12:16 pm
Sunil Narine won't be playing for West Indies in the T20 World Cup, despite some people hoping he would change his mind. He thanked fans for wanting him back but said he's sticking to his decision to retire. Even though he doesn't want to let fans down, he's firm that he won't be returning. This news follows requests from West Indies captain Rovman Powell and others for Narine to come back. Narine's great performance in the recent IPL, including scoring his first T20 century, made people think he could help the West Indies team in the World Cup. Although he won't be playing, Narine said he'll be cheering for West Indies and hopes they do well in the tournament.
