New Zealand emerged victorious by a slender margin of 4 runs against Pakistan . Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Pakistan faced a formidable challenge from the Kiwi batsmen. New Zealand posted a total of 178/7 in their allotted 20 overs, with notable contributions from Tim Robinson, who scored 51 runs off 36 balls, Dean Foxcroft with 34 runs off 26 balls, Tom Blundell adding 28 runs off 15 balls, and Michael Bracewell chipping in with 27 runs off 20 balls.
