Australia won the first T20 match against Pakistan by 29 runs at The Gabba. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first, hoping to keep Australia’s score low. But Australia’s batsmen played very well and put up a strong score. Glenn Maxwell was the star for Australia, scoring 43 runs from just 19 balls. Marcus Stoinis also played well, scoring 21 runs off 7 balls without getting out. Together, they helped Australia reach 93/4 in their 7 overs, giving Pakistan a tough target to chase. When it was Pakistan’s turn to bat, they found it hard to score quickly and kept losing wickets. Abbas Afridi was the only batsman to make a good score, with 20 runs off 10 balls.
